Three things have changed in the engineering job market recently and people have only noticed the first one, which is the layoffs. Everyone's talking about the layoffs. There's a news every week about a large company laying off thousands of engineers or employees in general. But there is a second one, which is that getting into IT has become harder. It's way more challenging now to start your career in tech than it was three to five years ago. Back then, the deal was company hired a junior engineer, they trained them on the job for a few months or years. They invested in them until they slowly built their engineering skills. That's how it worked. That deal is basically gone right now. Because companies can actually automate most of the things that juniors were hired to do back then. But there's also a third change in the market, which is about where AI actually sits in the engineering work. I've spoken to over 50 senior engineers about this topic who use AI daily in their actual work projects. We discussed how they're using AI in their pipelines, in their infrastructure, in their clusters, the actual technical use cases, not something that their company says on their LinkedIn page or not something that the company wants their engineers to present on their keynote speeches. So these were technical talks and deep dives between engineers without any marketing influence. Now, each one of these three on its own is actually pretty bad news. Like it's become more challenging for engineers, whether entry-level or senior, because of AI. However, if you really understand the underlying reasons behind and if you understand the facts and data instead of just these loud headlines, you could turn this to your advantage, actually. So I'm going to be walking through all three in detail on September 13th, 3 hours, completely free, and it's going to be live, so I'm going to be answering a lot of your questions at the end as well.
