Learning a new skill is tough. But as Jessica says, the only way to fail is to stop & not come back.

[00:00] Some of the concerns I've heard folks [00:01] say in the past are cuz a lot of the the [00:03] folks in tech are like, "Well, this is [00:04] hardcore. We're we're the the smartest [00:06] people in the room." So, really a lot of [00:09] it is, "Am I good enough? Am I smart [00:11] enough? Can I keep up?" The way we've [00:13] paced this boot camp is we're going to [00:14] start on April 24th with a little [00:17] kickoff party. We'll have a lesson [00:19] stream Monday to Friday all the way [00:21] through until July 3rd, but all of the [00:23] material you're working on is within [00:25] free code camp. If you go ahead and join [00:27] and you get sick or you hurt or you're [00:29] tired and you need to stop, that [00:31] progress doesn't go away. There's no [00:33] pass or fail. I mean, the only way to [00:36] fail is to stop and not come back. [00:39] But, one thing I'm really really proud [00:40] of is a lot of our learners from the [00:42] first cohort came back and finished on [00:44] the third. Like, the ability to say, [00:46] "Cool, this is just a really really [00:49] laid-back community." There are [00:51] deadlines and we're working on this this [00:53] day, [00:54] but we don't expect everybody to have [00:55] everything finished on July 3rd. That's [00:57] a lot of stuff to do.
