[00:00] Okay, CSS has some fundamental concepts [00:02] called like the box model or whatever. [00:03] It's width and height. Okay, everything [00:05] on the web is a rectangle. So, all every [00:08] every element's a rectangle and you can [00:09] control it and you can push away other [00:11] rectangles with margin and you can push [00:14] inwards on your elements with padding [00:16] and then there's a border and then [00:17] there's an outline, but the outline's [00:18] not part of the box model. All this [00:20] fundamental stuff that you know, but [00:21] then all of a sudden, not so long ago, [00:24] we got names for all these things like [00:27] margin and padding and border and and [00:29] these things that are called logical [00:30] properties. So, instead of saying [00:32] padding left, we have pad padding inline [00:34] start. And for a lot of us that just, [00:37] you know, are English-speaking people [00:39] making English websites, those two [00:41] things are synonymous and they do the [00:43] exact same thing. But we are told like, [00:45] "Hey, maybe it's smarter if we use [00:48] padding inline start instead of padding [00:49] left because they are actually a little [00:51] bit different." The idea is that it's [00:53] padding along the direction of where the [00:55] text starts.
