[00:02] >> Yeah, I think uh showing that I have [00:04] completed a boot camp, a deos boot camp, [00:06] this is like a social proof and also [00:09] people recognize you, you know. I [00:10] remember that when I was applying and [00:13] when I was talking with interviewers, [00:14] they they know who you are, you know, [00:16] from your videos from YouTube. So, [00:18] >> so yeah, it's good. I I I usually tell [00:21] students to actually include it in their [00:23] CV to include it in the LinkedIn profile [00:25] because you know when people know okay [00:27] you actually did the boot camp from from [00:28] us especially if you are applying at a [00:31] technical company like they would [00:32] actually know the the name so it's [00:34] actually beneficial but it's good to to [00:36] hear it's amazing [00:37] >> yeah and also uh yeah the projects I [00:39] mean you have to send your CV and your [00:42] CV normally you have a link to your [00:44] GitHub so they can uh see your uh [00:47] projects you know beforehand and um that [00:50] you know the projects uh if you can [00:52] explain them confidently you know then [00:55] they know that you know your stuff and [00:57] also the certifications the professional [00:59] certifications because they are tough to [01:01] get I think if you have these three [01:03] things like um the Deops boot camp yeah [01:06] it was super useful for me because I I [01:08] don't have a computer science background [01:10] you know [01:10] >> but also I find that they don't really [01:12] teach DevOps you know uh if you study [01:16] computer science so the only way to [01:18] really learn it is either by the job, [01:22] you know, if you have the experience or [01:23] through a boot camp like yours. Yeah. Or [01:25] self-study. But yeah, if you self-study, [01:27] it's a bit difficult to really show, you [01:29] know, that you have the level enough, [01:31] you know, to work later as a DevOps. [01:34] >> Yeah, that's a really good point. So, [01:35] you can't have a traditional degree in [01:38] DevOps. That's that's current at least [01:41] currently it's not possible. So you have [01:43] to have it either from self-arning or [01:45] from experience or like a like a boot [01:47] camp or a professional program. So you [01:49] sent your DevOps portfolio along with [01:53] your applications to kind of showcase [01:55] your skills, right? Did they ask you [01:57] questions about your projects that you [01:59] sent them? [02:00] >> Yeah, they always ask. Yes.
