Why big apps choose web over native

[00:00] I've read, you know, like [00:02] you know, an article recently that's [00:03] like, why aren't some of these big-time [00:05] web apps that are [00:07] or like quote-unquote native apps that [00:09] are dropping, why aren't they built with [00:11] Swift or or technologies that you think [00:14] of as [00:15] native technologies for native apps? And [00:18] it's not cuz it's not cuz like, I don't [00:21] know, LLMs just can't do it or whatever. [00:24] It's cuz web technologies are like just [00:26] as good. That you can build a very, very [00:28] beautiful app [00:30] possibly better, possibly easier because [00:33] it is reusing components from the [00:35] website that you already produce, and [00:37] have it not be like, oh, this just looks [00:39] like a junky web app that they, you [00:41] know, like an iframe they threw a a [00:44] native wrapper around. It feels just as [00:46] good, maybe better.
