When things are new and a little scary, embracing a beginner's mindset can help

[00:00] What this future's going to look like is [00:01] not going to be evenly distributed for [00:03] everybody. And the the the best thing [00:05] that I can offer here is pay attention, [00:08] embrace the change, understand it's [00:10] going to be new, novel, hard, but like [00:12] trust yourself to respond based on all [00:15] of the things that you've built for [00:16] yourself and the and the foundation that [00:18] you have built and and understand like [00:19] no one has all the answers. Like that's [00:22] the nice thing about change is like oh, [00:23] but I'm new here and I'm in my 40s and [00:25] I'm just now starting out as a [00:26] programmer and all these other people [00:27] have been here so long. It's like, yeah, [00:28] like those people have ossified and [00:30] calcified and like the like the they to [00:32] a certain extent now they have to break [00:34] out of that. [00:35] You have the plasticity and the the the [00:37] the the beginner's mindset to actually [00:40] succeed and thrive in this novel [00:41] landscape where other people are going [00:43] to struggle. And so so wherever you're [00:47] at and however you come at this from, [00:48] it's all about mindset and our our [00:50] willingness to to push ourselves outside [00:52] of our comfort zone that's going to [00:54] determine how well we we adapt to that [00:56] change.
